Before & After

Before Your Appointment

Shave the back 24 hours before your appointment — or arrive early and your provider can assist. Do not wax or thread before treatment.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 2 weeks prior. No self-tanner on the back — treated skin must be at its natural baseline tone.
Come with clean skin — no body lotion, oil, or products on the back on the day of treatment.
No waxing for 4–6 weeks prior — the follicle must be intact for the laser to destroy it.

After Your Appointment

Mild redness and warmth across the back is normal and resolves within a few hours.
Avoid heat for 24–48 hours — hot showers, gym sessions, and saunas. Keep the back cool while the skin settles.
SPF if the back is exposed — beach days, outdoor activities — protect treated skin between sessions.
Hair shedding is normal over 2–3 weeks following each session as destroyed follicles release the hair shaft.
You can shave freely between sessions — it does not affect your results or the follicle.
